Get Involved
There are loads of different ways you can get involved, so there’s something for everyone. We sometimes put out specific requests for help, which could include making teas at an event, running skills share workshops, putting up posters, researching willow coppicing, and all sorts of other things. For now, here are some general ideas to get you started.

Look at your own life. Calculate your carbon footprint; have a think about how you can reduce your dependence on fossil fuels. Is your house properly insulated? How far did the food travel to reach your plate?
Spread the word. Talk to your family, friends and colleagues and invite them to join in. Find out what’s already going on in your community and help us link together different organisations.
Take part in the forums to share ideas, debate the issues, meet other people and find out what’s going on. You’ll need to set up an account to post messages to the forums.
Join a working group. We’re planning to set up working groups on topics such as food, transport, homes and energy in the next few months. Watch out for announcements, and let us know if you have a particular interest in being part of one of the working groups.
