Transition Derby

Just to let you know what's happening in Wirksworth. We've had 3 well attended awareness meetings 50 to 60 at each! A lot of energy around. We've collected names and details of interested people and are forming a data bank. While the stearing group (Rosemary, Judith, myself and others from Wirksworth Sustainability) are meeting over a shared lunch to see how and where we go from here. In fact we have decided to merge Sustainable Wirksworth with Transition Wirksworth. There's plenty of 'heart and soul' in the group and during the awareness meetings. Enjoyable to be involved and I think there is a lot of potential commitment and enthusiasm around, so a BIG THANK YOU TRANSITION DERBY FOR ARRANGING THE TRANSITION TRAINING WORKSHOP AND FOR ENABLING US TO GET ON OUR WAY. We have also had support and speakers from Transition Matlock and Buxton too
