Come to hear a talk from Peter Robinson (Derby Climate Coalition and Stop Climate Chaos)

who will report from recent visit to California highlighting both challenges and opportunities on job creation, job quality, and building a climate movement, offering important lessons for the UK.

Followed by Q&A session and discussion around:

What hope is there for ‘silver bullets’; i.e. hi-tec fixes?

Are there risks as well as opportunities in addressing climate change and energy policy in terms of job creation?

Can government, business, trade union, environmental and community interest groups come together to ensure that communities can benefit from employment opportunities?
