Building Resilient Organisations

As a low-carbon and oil-constrained future emerges, how is your business or organisation preparing? Do you see this as a future with great risks – or great opportunities? In a future likely to be characterised by multiple shocks to our financial, ecological and social systems, we believe resilience is a key factor for organisational success.

Our approach aims to strengthen the ability of your business or organisation to cope with energy and resource-related shocks and other unexpected changes.

We want to help you plan for a positive future, today. So, if you feel that Transition isn't understood where you work, or with the institutions you deal with,  work with us. Get in touch via this website or www.ttandc.org.uk .

Why are we working with businesses and organisations?

Building resilience among individuals and communities is only half the story of meeting the challenges of peak oil, climate change and economic security. Organisations, whether they are in the public, private or third/voluntary sectors, are no more than groups of people working together in pursuit of a particular purpose. They are located within, and interact directly with, our local communities. We might not always completely agree with their purpose or how they go about achieving it today, but we believe that their taking up the transition model, or similar, is vital for all of our tomorrows.

We can provide your organisation with the skills and tools to create and deliver your own positive vision, in the midst of instability and uncertainty. We engage and motivate individuals, groups and organisations of all sizes and scales. We help unlock creativity and human ingenuity to find positive, effective solutions.
